A native of North Adams, MA, Matt studied business at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. Cooking his way through all levels of education, Matt learned “hands-on” how to successfully run and operate a restaurant with a niche for cooking, working with renowned Chef’s throughout his culinary career. Starting in his early youth, Matt worked with the Siciliano Family at LaVeranda in North Adams where he acquired a love for Italian Cuisine and the restaurant business alike. Throughout high school, Matt made a home at The Mill on the Floss, where he worked closely with the Champagne Family in every restaurant capacity. After college, Matt moved to Boston where he spent 8 years as an Executive Chef for two small, successful restaurant groups. In 2018, Matt also opened his sister restaurant Tres Ninos, also located in North Adams.
