A native of North Adams, MA studied business at Roger Williams University in RhodeIsland. Cooking his way through all levels of education, Matt learned “hands-on” how to successfully run and operate a restaurant with a niche for cooking, working with renowned Chef’s throughout his culinary career. Starting as a teenager, Matt worked with the Siciliano Family at LaVeranda in North Adams where he acquired a love for Italian Cuisine and the restaurant business alike. Throughout High School, Matt worked at The Mill on the Floss, where he found a home with the Champagne Family and was utilized in nearly every position offered. After college, Matt moved to Boston where he spent 8 years as an Executive Chef for two small, successful restaurant groups. After the birth of his second boy he decided, along with his wife, to make the transition back to his hometown to raise their family and start their own business.
